Just as the Gaṅgā is the greatest of all rivers, Lord Acyuta the supreme among deities and Lord Śambhu [Śiva] the greatest of Vaiṣṇavas, so Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the greatest of all Puranas.

Enlightening less privileged people with the gift of transcendental knowledge present in Srimad Bhagavatam could help them cut down the knots of repeated birth and death, giving them the actual peace in life. When such a great literature is given in charity, the fruits just double up for the giver and the receiver of course begins a new life with Spiritual Value to it.

Often Prabhupada says: “There is no literature throughout the universe like Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. There is no comparison. There is no competition. Every word is for the good of human society. Every word, each and every word”.
