Gyaan Daan Seva – Hare Krishna Movement, Bhilai

We are submerged in a dark ocean of skyscraper buildings, factories, addictions, war and ultimately unhappiness and alas! We don’t even know it.

But one man in his seventies, surviving two massive heart attacks, single handedly, held the torch up high and spread its light everywhere. He lives forever in his books.

Yes, it’s the fearless warrior of Lord Sri Krishna, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada about whom we are talking.

His mission (as ordered by his Spiritual Master HDG Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur) was to translate the magnanimous Indian Vedic texts into English and deliver to the Western World, thus to spread the teachings of Sri Chaitanya, beyond the borders of India. Books and books only occupied his trunk on his journey to America and those trunkful books have transformed hundreds and thousands of people from various walks of life into Krishna Conscious happy living entities.
